In the new technical plant, active agents are manufactured in up to a quantity of 100 kilograms. Boehringer Ingelheim invested more than 50 million Euros in the building for the production of newly developed pharmaceutical agents. In addition to the technical center, which is located in the lower 3 stories, the building also has a laboratory floor for quality control.

Multiple extensions to Testo Industrial Services in Kirchzarten.
New areas for accredited calibration laboratories, variousopen-plan and individual offices, as well as meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art training center and new logistics areas have been created.
In order to meet industry standards and to guarantee the accuracy of measurements, the Testo laboratories in Kirchzarten have to show stable ambient conditions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This is achieved by a unique ventilation and air-conditioning concept.
As part of the expansion, the pellet heating system was also expanded. Energy is won by ten geothermal probes. In addition, a photovoltaic system on the roof generates additional electricity, which is fed into the public grid.
